Visiting Artist: Carol Prusa

Carol Prusa was born in Chicago and received her BS in Biocommunication Arts from the University of Illinois and a MFA from Drake University. She has been awarded visual arts fellowships from the South Florida Cultural Consortium, the State of Florida, and the Howard Foundation through Brown University. Her work is in the permanent collections of the Perez Art Museum, Hunter Museum of American Art, University of Wyoming Art Museum, Arkansas Arts Center, Daum Museum of Contemporary Art, and Telfair Art Museum, among others. Solo museum exhibitions include: the Arkansas Arts Center; University of Maine Museum of Art; Museum of Contemporary Art, in Jacksonville; Lakatamia Municipalia, in Nicosia, Cyprus; and the Polk Museum of Art. Prusa is represented by Zadok Gallery in Miami, Bluerider in Taipei, Kostuik in Vancouver, Tinney in Nashville, and Brintz in Palm Beach.
