Visiting Artist: Daniela Rivera

Daniela Rivera (b. 1973, Santiago, Chile) received an MFA from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, Massachusetts, and attended the School of Fine Arts, Universidad Católica de Chile in Santiago. Recent exhibitions include The Andes Inverted at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, Stadium at LaMontagne Gallery, La Propuesta Petite Growth at Chile's International Contemporary Art Fair in Santiago, and Lake Effect/Nor’easter at Andrew Rafacz Gallery in Chicago. Rivera has been an artist in residence at the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture, and is the recipient of a Massachusetts Cultural Council Award, as well as numerous research grants from Wellesley College, where she is currently an Associate Professor of Art.
