Hope Ginsburg (b. 1974, Bala Cynwyd, PA) received a Master of Science in Visual Studies from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a BFA in Sculpture from the Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia. Her work has been featured in numerous solo and group exhibitions; recent venues include Wexner Center for the Arts in Columbus, Ohio, Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art in North Adams, Massachusetts; MoMA PS1 in Long Island City, NY; Kunst-Werke in Berlin, Germany; Sculpture Center in Long Island City, NY; The Baltimore Museum of Art; Julia Friedman Gallery in New York; and CUE Art Foundation in New York. Hope Ginsburg has participated in the Rauschenberg Residency, the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture, and has received an Art Matters Foundation Grant. Hope Ginsburg is an Associate Professor at Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts. She lives and works in Richmond, Virginia.
