Marc Leuthold received his MFA from the University of North Carolina, at Chapel Hill and his AB in Fine Arts from the College of William and Mary. His works have been exhibited at venues including the Sydney College of Arts at the University of Sydney, in Australia; the New Mexico Museum of Art; the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens; the LongHouse Reserve, in East Hampton, NY; Pierogi Gallery, in Brooklyn, NY; the Mino Museum in Tajimi City, Japan; and the Museum of Applied Arts in Prague, in the Czech Republic, among many others. He is one of forty Americans who was elected to be a lifetime member of the International Academy of Ceramics. His work is included in the collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Brooklyn Museum, the Museum of Arts and Design, the Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts, the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, and the Smithsonian National Museum of American Art, among many others. He also serves as Professor at the State University of New York and has taught at Princeton University and the Parsons School of Design.
