Visiting Artist: Vera Iliatova

Vera Iliatova received her BA from Brandeis University and an MFA from Yale University.

Iliatova is represented by Monya Rowe Gallery in NYC, where she had her fifth solo exhibition in spring 2015. Her work was included in numerous exhibitions both in the US and abroad, including Artist Space, New York; New Langton Art Center, San Francisco; David Castillo Gallery, Miami; Galleria Glance, Torino, Italy; 68 Projects, Berlin; and Mogadishni Gallery, Copenhagen among others. Iliatova’s paintings have been reviewed in Art Forum, Art in America, Art News, The New York Times, The New York Observer, T Magazine, and many other publications.  Iliatova was a recipient of artist residencies at Skowhegan School of Art and Vermont Studio Center and she was awarded a Free Studio Space at the Marie Walsh Sharpe Foundation in 2007/2008.
