Louise von Weise

Founder

Louise von Weise, with Jon Gregg and Fred Osborne, founded the Vermont Studio Center in 1984. Born and bred in San Antonio, Texas, Louise has a love of gardening. She earned a BA in Humanities and Art from Scripps, Claremont Colleges, CA. (60's)  Louise taught in public schools and started an alternative school in VT where she educated her two small children. She earned her degree in graphic arts ( 70's), owned her own business and received her BA in painting (80's).
