VSC Trustee and Johnson State MFA recipient Won Lee is profiled in the May issue of Sculpture:
"Korean-born sculptor Won Lee lives and works in Toronto. For his studio, he uses an older house with a salon-style workspace, a back porch, and a sizable storage basement (the house where he and his wife reside is on the other side of town). Lee spends time drawing and modeling the figure in clay, often refining the shapes into abstract forms before firing them in his backyard kiln..." Read more

Photographs and writing by VSC alumna Ellen Pearlman (2000, 2003, 2005 and 2008) on traditional Tibetan dance appear this month in Taiwanese magazine is "Northern Lights". Pearlman was recently a keynote speakers at the International Taiwanese Photographic Symposium.
