Brian Belott (b. 1973, East Orange, NJ) received his BFA at the School of Visual Arts in New York, NY in 1995. Recent exhibitions of Belott’s work include Dr. Kid President Jr. at Gavin Brown’s Enterprise and 247365 in New York; Puuuuuuuffs at Moran Bondaroff, Los Angeles; Windshield Unexpected Wipers with Jesse Greenberg at LOYAL in Sweden; Sweather with Ross Simonini at Fredericks & Freiser in New York, and Cat Food with Joe Bradley at Retrospective in Hudson, New York. Recent group exhibitions include Unorthodox at The Jewish Museum, Third Heat at CANADA, and Hill of Munch at Rachel Uffner Gallery, all in New York. The artist's work is included in the permanent collection of The Museum of Modern Art in New York. Brian Belott currently lives and works in Brooklyn.
