Carol Prusa (b. 1956) received a Bachelor of Science in Biocommunication Arts from the University of Illinois, and an MFA in Painting from Drake University. Solo exhibitions of the artist’s work include Dark Energy at Endicott College; Thin Spaces at Art Center Sarasota; LIT at Cornell Museum of Art; Unfathomable at Alan Avery Gallery in Atlanta, and at additional venues such as Bluerider Gallery in Taipei, Taiwan; Le Salon Vert in Geneva; and at the University of North Carolina, Asheville. Her work is included in the public collections of the Museum of Arts and Design in New York City, Emaar Hospitality in Dubai, the Hunter Museum of American Art, the Perez Art Museum in Miami, the Kohler Art Center in Wisconsin, among many others. The artist is represented internationally, at Jenkins Johnson Gallery in San Francisco and New York; Bluerider Gallery in Taipei, Taiwan; Jennifer Kostuik Gallery in Vancouver, and Le Salon Vert in Geneva, Switzerland.
