David Kearns received his MFA from Johnson State College in 2009, and was a staff artist at VSC from Sept. 2009-January 2011. In addition to several solo shows at VSC, Kearns' work has been shown at the Queens Museum, the Brattleboro Museum, Boston University, REDUX Contemporary Art Center, the College of New Jersey, CCV Burlington, Johnson State College, and most recently in a solo show this past May at Thisfridayornextfriday Gallery, an artist-run space in Dumbo, Brooklyn, NY. Other solo shows include the 222 Shelby St. Gallery in Santa Fe and a mural commission by the Queens Museum for the museum's Bulova Center Gallery. Kearns lives and works in Richmond Hill, Queens.
