Heide Fasnacht (b. 1951, Cleveland, OH) received a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design and an MA from New York University. In addition to representation by Kent Gallery in NYC and Galeria Trama in Spain, Fasnacht has also exhibited at the Socrates Sculpture Park, deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum, Dodge Gallery, American Academy of Arts and Letters, Worcester Art Museum, Bernard Toale Gallery in Boston, RAMGalerie in Rotterdam, and the Cleveland Center for Contemporary Art. She is the recipient of the Pollock-Krasner Fellowship, an National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship, and an Edward Albee Foundation Grant. Her work is held in numerous collections including the Philadelphia Museum of Art, Brooklyn Museum, Fogg Art Museum, Tang Museum, and the Walker Art Center. Fasnacht has taught at UCLA, the Kansas City Art Institute, Tyler, Princeton University, and currently teaches at Parsons in New York City.
