Judith Simonian (b. Los Angeles) received an M.A. and B.A. from California State University, Northridge. Recent exhibitions include the solo show Foreign Bodies at Edward Thorp Gallery in New York City; an exhibition at John Davis Gallery in Hudson, NY; Domestic Arrangements at Van Der Plas Gallery in New York; Never Mind the Bullocks at Life on Mars, New York; and Grand Vista at the Noyes Museum in Atlantic City. The artist has been in residence at the MacDowell Colony, the Dora Maar House, Yaddo, and is the recipient of a Guggenheim Foundation Fellowship and a National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship. Her work is included in the collections of the Hammer Museum, the Broad Art Foundation, Orange County Museum of Art, and St. Michael’s College in Colchester Vermont, among many others. Judith Simonian currently lives and works in New York.
