Lucy Kim (b. 1978, Seoul, South Korea) received a BFA in Painting at Rhode Island School of Design, and an MFA in Painting & Printmaking at Yale University. Recent solo exhibitions of the artist’s work include Stubborn Doubles at Galerie Pact in Paris; Lucy Kim: Rejuvenate and Repeat at the Institute of Fine Arts at New York University; and A Parrot in a Bell at Lisa Cooley in New York. Recent group exhibitions have been held at Reilly Gallery at Providence College, Tisch Family and Koppelman Galleries at Tufts University; Tiger Strikes Asteroid in New York; and VACATION in New York. Kim has been an artist in residence at the MacDowell Colony and the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture, and is the 2017 recipient of the James and Audrey Foster Prize at the ICA Boston.
