Nicole Cherubini (b. 1970, Boston) received a BFA in Ceramics from the Rhode Island School of Design and an MFA from New York University. Recent solo exhibitions include Nicole Cherubini: F at Zevitas Marcus in Los Angeles; the love tapes, a retrospective at Retrospective in Hudson, New York; golden specific at Samsøñ in Boston; and 500 at Pérez Art Museum in Miami. Recent group exhibitions of the artist’s work have been held at Jack Hanley Gallery in New York; Marc Straus in New York; Boca Raton Museum of Art in Florida; Tang Teaching Museum and Art Gallery in Saratoga Springs, New York; and the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art in Kansas City. Cherubini is the recipient of an Art Matters Grant, the Louis Comfort Tiffany Foundation Award, and has been an artist in residence at the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture, the Henry Street Settlement, and the Watershed Center for Ceramic Arts. The artist lives and works between Hudson and Brooklyn, New York.
