Our Arrival/Departure Shuttle, which provides group transportation to and from the Burlington
airport as well as the train and bus stations, is the least expensive way to make the final leg of your
journey to VSC. Burlington is about an hour drive away from Johnson; Waterbury and Essex are each about 45 minutes away. The shuttle fee is $20 per trip (nonrefundable) and wheelchair-accessible shuttles are available; you can reserve one-way or round-trip shuttle service via the Travel Form.

On the official arrival day, the shuttle is able to accommodate arrivals before 4pm by plane or bus.

On the official departure day, the shuttle operates between the hours of 7am and 12pm; please schedule your plane, train, or bus to depart after 9:30am on this day.

There is a two-piece luggage maximum on the VSC Shuttle.

All other luggage or supplies should be shipped per our Shipping Information. To take advantage of the shuttle, your reservation and payment must be received by VSC four weeks in advance of your arrival date.

Arrivals after the 4:00 pm shuttle will require that you arrange for a taxi at your own expense (usually $80-$100).

For questions, travel plan changes, or to amend a reservation for the shuttle, contact the Travel  Coordinator at 802-635-2727 x211 or email

Burlington International Airport (BTV) is serviced by Delta, USAir, United, and JetBlue, among other carriers. Greyhound Bus lines and Vermont Translines provide service to the Burlington bus terminal, located at the airport. (We do not accommodate MegaBus arrivals.)

Amtrak services this area of Vermont with the Vermonter Line.

Make your train arrival reservations to the Waterbury-Stowe, Vermont (WAB) Station. Because there is only one train arrival each day, please schedule your train arrival for Saturday evening only, for both regular and mid-session arrivals, to take our VSC shuttle.

Plan your train departure on the morning of your official departure day to depart from the Essex Junction, Vermont (ESX) Station.
