We’re excited to announce the 35th Anniversary Vermont Alumnx* Exhibition! The show will be on view in both the Red Mill Gallery and in Gallery II located at the Vermont Studio Center in Johnson, VT. We will host a reception during Vermont Artists Week Open Studios on Sunday, May 5th, 2019 from 1PM - 4PM.

The work in this exhibition was selected through an open call juried by Meg McDevitt and Andrea Pearlman. Three artists will be awarded the following:

One 2020 Vermont Artists Week Residency
Solo exhibition at VSC’s Red Mill Gallery, 2020 season
Solo exhibition at VSC’s Gallery II, 2020 season

Meg McDevitt works primarily with drawing and sculpture. She graduated from Cooper Union and the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. Meg teaches full time in the Department of Art and Art History at the University of Vermont. She lives in Johnson and has an art studio in Eden, Vermont.

Andrea Pearlman is a painter and Johnson, VT resident. Her paintings are primarily based in abstraction. She studied painting Pratt Institute in NYC where she received her BFA. Andrea founded and ran the Studio Store from 1985 to 2014.
